1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Kori Recovery. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kori mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Kori Recovery ("Kori," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kori is a wellness and recovery tracking application that allows users to:

• Track cold plunge, sauna, cold shower, red light therapy, and stretching sessions
• Monitor recovery progress with charts and statistics
• Set and track personal wellness goals
• Practice guided breathing exercises
• Log mood, energy, and journal entries
• Earn achievements and maintain streaks
• Integrate with Apple HealthKit (optional)

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Health and Safety Disclaimer

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Cold exposure, heat exposure, and other recovery activities carry inherent risks
• You should consult a healthcare professional before beginning any new wellness routine
• The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice
• You are solely responsible for your health decisions and safety during activities
• You should stop any activity immediately if you experience discomfort, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms
• Certain conditions (cardiovascular issues, pregnancy, etc.) may make some activities unsafe

Kori and its affiliates are not liable for any injuries, health issues, or damages resulting from your use of the Service or participation in recovery activities.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated means to access or collect data from the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Kori Recovery and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent. The Kori name, logo, and all related names, logos, and slogans are trademarks of Kori Recovery.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as journal entries and notes). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including:

• Apple HealthKit: For health data synchronization
• Firebase: For authentication and data storage
• Sign in with Apple/Google: For account authentication

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Subscription and Payments

Kori may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KORI RECOVERY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your data
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content
• Any physical injury or health issues related to activities tracked using the Service

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kori Recovery and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of California.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
